Associate Professor Roy Murray-Prior is collaborating on an agricultural project in Sulawesi. The project will identify changes that can be made to the goat supply chain to increase profits for local farmers.
Associate Professor Ravi Fotedar is working to improve the livelihood of farmers in the coastal region of central Vietnam by introducing higher-value local aquatic species, improving both traditional farming systems and the environment.
After the Timor-Leste conflict (2006-2007), Associate Professor Jaya Earnest researched community resilience in Dili and Baucau among 100,000 displaced Timorese.
Associate Professor Jaya Earnest is collaborating with SNDT Women’s University in Mumbai on a health project in Gujarat, India. The project will help the community to make informed choices to improve their health.
Ron Watkins is a professor of geography, and has supervised five AusAID students. He is conducting research into mining pollution, geochemistry and health in Asian countries such as India, Vietnam and Thailand.

Associate Professor Jaya Earnest undertook her PhD on Education reform in Rwanda, and is currently supervising an EIPRA scholar undertaking a study into issues of HIV and fertility in post-conflict Northern Uganda.
